In 1999, he was the Vice President of Warner Music South East Asia. His awards include the Honor of the Commander of the Order of the British Empire, conferred by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2011 for services to promote commercial and educational links between the UK and Malaysia. In 2010, he received the Officer of the Legion d’Honneur award from the French government, the highest award that can be conferred on a non-French national. He was named as one of the world’s most creative people in business for 2011 by New York-based business magazine Fast Company, and awarded the inaugural ‘Travel Business Leaders Award’ winner by CNBC.

After working at Citibank in New York, he returned to Thailand to join Bangkok Bank in 1986. He gained extensive experience at both operational and managerial levels in various departments at Bangkok Bank including Foreign Exchange Trading, Marketing, Treasury, Investment Banking Group and International Banking Group before being appointed President on December 1, 1994. He is also the Chairman of the Thai Bankers’ Association and a member of the Board of Trustees of Singapore Management University.

Mr. Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ayala Corporation, the holding company of the oldest business group in the Philippines. Ayala Corporation has subsidiaries and affiliates in real estate development, telecommunications, banking and financial services, electronics manufacturing, water distribution, automotive dealerships, business process outsourcing and overseas real estate investments. Apart from his responsibilities on the boards of the Ayala Group companies, Mr. Zobel is a member of various international and local business and socio-civic organisations, including the JP Morgan International Council and Mitsubishi Corporation International Advisory Committee. He is also Chairman of the Harvard Business School Asia-Pacific Advisory Board, a member of the Harvard Global Advisory Council, Chairman of the Asia Business Council, Chairman of the World Wildlife Fund Philippine Advisory Council and a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum. He is also the Philippine Representative to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory Council. In 2007, he received the Harvard Business School Alumni Achievement Award, the school’s highest recognition. Mr. Zobel is a 2009 recipient of the Presidential Medal of Merit, awarded by the President of the Republic of the Philippines for enhancing the prestige and honor of the Republic of the Philippines both at home and abroad. Subsequently, Mr. Zobel was bestowed the Philippine Legion of Honor, with rank of Grand Commander, by the President of the Republic of the Philippines in recognition of his outstanding public service to the Republic. Nazir Razak is the Group Chairman of CIMB Group Holdings Bhd. (“CIMB Group”). He joined CIMB’s corporate advisory department in 1989 and was appointed Chief Executive in 1999 followed by Chairman recently in 2014. Thura K. Ko is a founding partner of YGA Capital, a Myanmar registered company focused on identifying and investing in attractive growth opportunities In Myanmar. YGA Capital is associated with global and regional private equity funds. Prior to returning to Myanmar in 2010, he worked for over 12 years in global investment banking and private equity firms covering Asia out of Hong Kong. He was most recently a Vice President at Providence Equity, a global telecom and media fund. Prior to this, he worked for Goldman Sachs, and N.M. Rothschild, a U.K. based privatisation and M&A house.
Transactions completed include the privatisation of Philippines National Electricity grid, Transco, and advising on strategic investments into Vietnam’s Water distribution and treatment plants. Mr. Ko holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics, University of London. Tos Chirathivat started his retail career in 1989 as Project Development Director at Central Pattana PLC. In 1992 he became CEO of Big C Supercenter PLC, pioneering a new retail format in Thailand. In 1996 he was nominated to Chief Operating Officer of Central Retail Corporation Ltd, responsible for all operations and management of all retail business units within CRC. In 2002 he was elected CEO of Central Retail Corporation Ltd.
Under his leadership, CRC entered its greatest period of growth, expanding into new formats and international markets. From 2002 to today, CRC’s total store network has expanded from 168 stores to 687 stores and annual sales have grown from USD 1.2 bn to 4.5 bn.

Shahril Shamsuddin is the President and Group CEO for SapuraKencana Petroleum. Prior to the merger between SapuraCrest and Kencana Petroleum, he held the role of Executive Vice-Chairman at SapuraCrest. He is also a member of the Company’s Remuneration and Option Committees. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from California Polytechnic, USA and a Masters of Science in Management of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT Sloan).
After graduating from California Polytechnic, he served with Dynatel, California for a year. He then returned to Malaysia in 1985 and embarked on his career with the Sapura Group, which was founded by his father, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Ir. Shamsuddin Abdul Kadir. He held the position of Assistant Managing Director of the Sapura Group from 1985 to 1990, as well as holding the position of Group General Manager of Uniphone Sdn Bhd from 1987 to 1990. He later became Group Managing Director of the Sapura Group from 1990 to 1996 before assuming his current position in the Group as President and Chief Executive Officer in 1997.
He is deemed to have an indirect interest of 60.06% in the Company by virtue of his direct and indirect interest in STB and Sapura Holdings Sdn Bhd group of companies, which are deemed interested in SapuraCrest pursuant to Section 6A of the Companies Act, 1965. Dr. Ilham Akbar Habibie Co-Founded Mitra Energia Ltd. in 2004. Dr. Habibie is the owner of PT Ilthabi Bara Utama and serves as its President and Director. He has also been the Chief Executive Officer and President of a number of aerospace and other companies which he founded. He served as a scientist and lecturer at the Technical University of Munich for seven years. He went on to work as an engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplane Group in the United States, from 1994 to 1996. While working in the United States, he assisted the President Director of Industri Pesawat Terbang Nusantara (‘IPTN’) the state-owned aerospace company in Indonesia, on the N2130 Regional Jet Program.
Since 1996, he served as Executive Vice President and Program Manager for Regional Jet Division of IPTN, subsequently the Executive Vice President of the Airplane Business Unit and then the Operation & Commercial Executive Vice President until 2000. He left PT. Dirgantara Indonesia in June 2001 to pursue his career in the private sector. From 1996 to 1998, he served as also the assistant to the Chairman of Badan Pengkajan dan Penerapan Teknogi (‘BPPT’) for Aeronautics and Advanced Technology. Since 2002, he has held senior positions at a number of Indonesian companies in the private sector, including Chief Executive Officer and President Director of PT. Ilthabi Rekatama and Commissioner of PT Citra Tubindo tbk.
He owns 50 per cent. of Ilthabi Ltd., of Ilthabi Sdn Bhd. As well as its stake in Mitra (prior to Mitra’s acquisition), Ilthabi Sdn Bhd also has an investment in Aviation Support Ltd. His professional career has straddled both academia and the business sector including time with the Technical University of Munich, Germany, Boeing in the United States, Bandung Institute of Technology and P.T. Pushpanathan Sundram (Nathan) is the Managing Director of EAS Strategic Advice – Asia in Singapore. EAS is a global consultancy that provides strategic and specialist services for governments, trade/industry associations and companies in regulatory affairs, public affairs, trade policy and law, issues management, and corporate social responsibility.
The Singapore office covers the Asia Pacific operations of the company. Nathan is Senior Fellow with the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA); Advisor to the Asia Logistics Council (ALC) and Executive Member of the Global Coalition for Efficient logistics (GCEL); Principal Advisor to the ASEAN Food and Beverage Alliance (AFBA); Executive Chairman of China-ASEAN Business Association (CABA); and Advisor to the Zhanjiang Municipality Government, Guangdong, China. He was a fellow with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore in 2012 and an Associate with the University of Tokyo in 2006 under the Japan Foundation’s Intellectual Fellowship.
He served at the ASEAN Secretariat for 16 years holding several senior positions with the last being the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN (Deputy Minister level) for ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) from January 2009 to March 2012. He is the youngest and the first professionally recruited Deputy in the history of ASEAN. He was instrumental in drafting, negotiating and concluding the AEC Blueprint, the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity and several ASEAN economic agreements and free trade agreements, including the framework for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). He provided leadership in the initial years of the implementation of the AEC Blueprint and forging a stronger engagement between ASEAN and the private sector, which he saw as key to building the AEC.
He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Master degree in Public Policy from the LKYSPP, NUS in collaboration with the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, USA.

Hendro Harijogi Poedjono was appointed Director for Public and Regulatory Affairs of FrieslandCampina Asia, member of leadership team FrieslandCampina Asia, in September 2012. He has concurrently held the role of President of Commissioners of PT Kievit Indonesia since 2007. He also serves as executive board member of the ASEAN Food and Beverage Alliance (AFBA).
Hendro began his career with FrieslandCampina group in 1988 as Small Holder Plantation Manager of PT Dieng Djaya in Central Java, later becoming Deputy Director. He was relocated to Jakarta in 1995, first as Assistant Director then Site Director of PT Foremost Indonesia a dairy processing company.
His achievements at these two FrieslandCampina companies resulted in his appointment as Human Resources and General Affairs Director of PT Friesche Vlag Indonesia from 1998 to 2003. Following the company’s transformation into PT Frisian Flag Indonesia, Hendro became Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Director, a role which he held for seven years. In 2010, when Frisian Flag Indonesia re-launched its brand, Hendro served as Trade Marketing Director until August 2012. An Indonesian national, Hendro is currently based in Singapore. He is an agricultural engineering graduate of UPN Veteran Yogyakarta and is a keen golfer.

Bev Postma, originally from the UK is an international policy specialist with more than 18 years’ experience in the agri-food sector, she has worked with the food industry in both Europe and Asia. Before joining Food Industry Asia (FIA), Bev held regional roles with leading companies, including Kellogg’s, Syngenta and the British Agriculture Bureau.
Bev has been at the forefront of many noteworthy projects, including the development of self-regulatory codes on food labelling in Europe and Asia and the introduction of a pan-Asia food safety surveillance network and fast-response unit for the food industry.
