The CIMB ASEAN Research Institute (CARI) conducted a regional workshop on private sector (MSME) outreach for the Enterprise and Stakeholders Engagement Division (ESED) of the ASEAN Secretariat on 27 November 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The workshop is a part of a wider project on “Strengthening Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Engagement in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) through Business/Industry Entities and Associations” that CARI has been commissioned to undertake by the ASEAN Secretariat, with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

The project aims at producing mechanisms and outreach plans that could be used by the ESED of the ASEAN Secretariat to disseminate and share important updates with the ASEAN MSMEs and private sector.
